Beau Pilgrim, an Australian photographer, was lucky enough to see a humpback whale jumping a few centimeters away from him.

While he was off the coast of Tonga, he managed to capture this incredible moment by means of a Standard 5DIII and of one 1DXII. He also explains that he keeps permanently his GoPro on the march to get an angle or a moment when he would not have taken care of photographing.

According to the young man, this experience is undoubtedly one of the most striking of its life and also one of the most stressful, because the whale really landed next to him and could spray him in a few seconds and at any time.
