The bright zootrope of Akinori Goto during the Spiral spring Independent Creators Festival

The Japanese artist Akinori Goto creates a bright zootrope for the Spiral spring Independent Creators Festival of Tokyo.

Akinori Goto is a Japanese artist practising contemporary art. He is specialized in the use of the new technologies and in the creation of optical illusions. In May, 2016, he took away Grand Prix Runner-up and price of the public in the Spiral spring Independent Creators Festival who took place in Tokyo, for its 17th edition. The jury rewarded its work on its sons zootrope lit by a blue light, giving an impression of dance characters. As a reminder, a zootrope is, on the base, an optical toy which turns on itself basing itself on the retinal obstinacy allowing to give the illusion of movement.
